Images from the Debris & Detritus launch at ConDFW.Rhonda Eudaly uttered the words, “Debris and Detritus, the lesser known Greek gods” at ConDFW 2014, and an anthology was born.

While the actual launch of Debris & Detritus: The Lesser Greek Gods Running Amok wasn’t until February 14, the launch party started February 10 and lasted an entire weekend at ConDFW in Texas!

Six authors–Rhonda Eudaly, Mark Finn, Melanie Fletcher, Beth Teliho, and Michelle Muenzler–joined editor Patricia Burroughs at a booksigning that never found their table without readers waiting for multiple autographs and he kind of chatter such a gathering of writers entails. All authors and publisher Annie Tarbuck also served as moderators and/or panelists throughout the weekend, and Rhonda did her usual turn of entertainment as one of the Four Redheads of the Apocalypse, a ConDFW staple.

Debris & Detritus has gone on to reap fabulous reviews from readers and reviewers. It has been hailed “a sly wink at classical mythology,” “fiendishly whimsical,” and “inventive, engaging, funny, and creepy!”

It has led many readers to find new writers to love, and there isn’t much higher praise than that.

And it all started at ConDFW.
